Software and Licensing

Use of the software available on OilExchange Web Sites is governed by the terms of an end user license agreement (“License Agreement”). You may not install or use any Software that is governed by a License Agreement unless you first agree to the License Agreement terms. Software that may be made available to download from the OilExchange Web Sites (“Software”), if any, remains the copyrighted work of OilExchange and/or its affiliates. The ownership of all such Software is retained by the copyright holder. A user’s right is usufructuory only conditioned upon the applicable License Agreement. Please read the License Agreement that accompanies each service and indicate your agreement to those terms prior to downloading.

For any Software not accompanied by a License Agreement, OilExchange hereby grants to the user, a personal, non-transferable usufructuory license to use the Software for viewing and otherwise using the OilExchange Web Sites in accordance with these user terms and conditions, and for no other purpose, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.

All Software is owned by OilExchange and/or its suppliers and clients and is protected by copyright laws and international treaty provisions. Any reproduction or redistribution of the Software is expressly prohibited by law, and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, COPYING OR REPRODUCTION OF THE SOFTWARE TO ANY OTHER SERVER OR LOCATION FOR FURTHER REPRODUCTION OR REDISTRIBUTION IS EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED.
